Many threats of disease, in fact. If you have cats or dogs, or even other animals, ranging from the smaller ones in cages

to urinate and defecate on various materials around your home, they will also chew them up and use them as nesting material, which brings us

They won't care that they are chewing through your favorite family photos, or the certificates you got through all those years of whatever it
is you've been doing. They'll chew through anything to provide a safe and soft, warm nest for their young, and they won't care whether that's
your clothes, your family photos, or important documents that you definitely shouldn't let a rat chew up. Your wife will go mad if she learns
that a rat infestation has caused the destruction of your wedding certificate … or the kids birth certificates. You know how women get about

The devastation that rats can cause is ridiculous - they are such a small creature, but just one rat alone is a destructive, chewing machine. Imagine
the damage that a group of rats can cause - an infestation of rats. Everything they do has a knock-on effect too. You will lose heat during the winter
because of the moving-around of attic insulation, requiring you to pay more for heating. Water leaks can cost a small fortune if they've been left to
leak for a long period of time, and that's before you think about how much it will cost to fill the cracks, seal the holes, and lay traps down to sort
the problem out once and for all.
